Para-Veterinarians are trained professionals who provide basic veterinary care, assist in livestock management, and serve as a vital link between rural communities and veterinary services.

OBJECTIVES of VPVI

To Train Skilled Para-Veterinarians

Equip students with the knowledge and practical skills required to assist veterinarians in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of animal health.

To Support the Veterinary Infrastructure

Provide a reliable workforce to strengthen the functioning of veterinary hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic laboratories.

To Strengthen Veterinary Extension Services

OUR COURSES

VPVI offers specialized diploma programs to train skilled Para-Veterinarians for both public and private sectors. These courses combine classroom learning with hands-on training to prepare students for real-world veterinary and livestock roles.

Diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy

Focuses on veterinary medicines, their safe handling, storage, dosage, and administration, along with vaccination and basic treatment procedures.

Diploma in Livestock Extension

Covers livestock care, feeding, breeding, disease prevention, and farmer education on best practices in animal husbandry.
